Argentina is one of the main producers of lemons worldwide with approximately 90% of production in Tucuman Province.
Variety EUREKA has a fruit with a smooth or thin rind of medium thickness, although it presents some roughness, especially if it is grown in mediterranean climates. This lemon is of yellow color and contains very few seeds and its juice has a high level of acidity.
This variety was selected in California from a population of lemon trees from germination, kernels of lemon trees imported from Italy.
